We sit peacefully and breathe. Breathwork is a direct way to signal safety to the nervous system, shifting the body from paralysis to gentle activation and presence. 30 min, sitting.
Breath-linked movement like yoga and dance creates a steady, rhythmic flow that anchors the mind and body. 30 minutes, standing/sitting/kneeling/lying down.
Restorative Yoga is active relaxation, allowing the body to deeply release tension and replenish energy without forcing effort. 45 min (unless you fall asleep sooner ;-), lying down.
Stretching is about releasing pain and tightness from the body through still and dynamic stretches, shifting muscle memory towards pain-fee movement. In-person option for STRETCH available June/July. 45 min, standing/sitting.
I get a lot of questions about restorative yoga...it's like that deep deep sleep you get when you wake up real rested, except you were awake to experience it. ACTIVE RELAXATION at its best...
